Not sure what to say?

As a long ago neighbor of Bert and Kathy I send my condolences to Kathy and family.

Dear Aunt Kay, Jim & Judy, Jack & Kris, Rick, & extended family:

My sympathies on the death of a well-loved man. When I got my first car, it came from my Gramma Mulder, and had power-nothing (like steering and brakes). I had been told that after Grampa died she learned how to drive at age 65 using that car. I was also told who taught her: her son-in-law, my uncle Bert. Sometimes greatness shows itself in seemingly little things.

Rejoicing with Bert that his faith has become sight and he is now with his Lord that he served so faithful. Our sympathy as you pause this week to reflect on the gift that God gave to each of you.

It is with great sadness, that we saw that Bert passed away. Our love and condolences to the entire Ponstine family, he was such a beautiful, kind, loving, man to everyone and also to Les and I at the auction. Loved it when he would get me cds of the singing hims, and he will be missed! We look forward to seeing him in Heaven and hear him singing in the Heavenly choir! He loved his Lord! We will miss him on the forth of July riding in the bug!

Our sympathy to the family in Bert’s passing. You have lost a wonderful man.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Our condolences to the Ponstine family on your loss. What a tremendous legacy to live up to! I knew him as early as high school as Jim’s dad, and respected him so much. What a great day it will be when we all meet up again

My deepest sympathies during your time of loss, my thoughts/prayers are with your family. I had the privilege to know and work with Bert at Steelcase. A special man.

Thank You for your Service ! My Dad was in WW11 , Army . I Salute You
Sir !
