Today in Mexico we celebrate the Day of the Dead. In Mahekal we wanted to dedicate an altar to the "boss" Mr. Lamont, we miss him very much and we remember him with love

I knew Lamont since 1991; when as a lowly hotel Director of Sales and Marketing I was sent to Arlington, TX to takeover a hotel. Our paths crossed many times during Interstate - Arlington, OK City and in 2008, when I started my consulting business, he was my first client - with some hotel in Playa del Carmen; that would transform into Mahekal Beach Resort. Lamont was a wonderful person, incredibly kind and generous. I worked with him at Mahekal. He loved that spot so much. His vision created a magical slice of paradise. He will be missed and remembered fondly.

Lamont was a great big brother. There are so many good times to reflect back on and carry in my heart forever. Til we meet again. Love Polly
