Not sure what to say?

Just a note to say that I really enjoyed her TV show circa 1961 and 1962. At that age, I hadn't started "liking girls yet," but I found Penny to be very cute and attractive. She would have been a great older sister!

I was one of the kids on the Penny and her Pals show. We lived close to the channel 13 tower, and one day I rode my bike to the show. The people there were very nice and let me watch the program. At the end I got to join the other kids singing and walking in a circle with Penny. To be able to be on the program with Penny was a thrill. She was a very special person, and I will always remember her smile and the special talent she had to entertain children with her puppets and stories.

I am so grateful for the 45 years I knew LaMoyne. She was full of love and taught me life lessons that have been a part of my life. I don't know whether or not she rerally ever knew it, but every good thing I am as an adult I owe to the guidance, love and friendship I received from LaMoyne and her late husband Johnny. I will miss her in ways I do not have words to describe. I am only sorry that she was never able to see me perform as a ventriloquist, since she was the reason I learned it,...

I am so grateful for the 25 years I worked for her and her father. It will be the best work of my life.We had a great run at the Harbor Lights,we were the best.I will never forget LaMoyne and Anton. They had a lasting effect on my life. The world is a less colorful place without them.

Thanks to those that made it out to the memorial. You can never place a sum on the impact someone has on a community, but seeing the sheer amount of loved ones at the memorial, at least, showed me how loved my grandmother was by so many.

My Auntie Pearl was married to Sonny Barcott and still loves to go to Harbor Lights, which feels like home to me. I remember my mom letting me watch "Penny" on TV and feeling so special that Pearl knew her! I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish I had been lucky enough to know her myself.

1961 My Bluebird Troop was on Penny and Her Pals. I remember it like it was yesterday. She was so kind and pretty. God Bless you LaMoyne ( Penny )!

When I was a kid in the south end her house was the BEST to go to on Halloween......... still remember it

You were a wondrous human being - full of curiosity and joy. Thank you for all you brought to the citizens of Tacoma. I feel honored to have been your friend.
