Lan Ngoc Ly

Lan Ngoc Ly passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025 in Annapolis. She was born May 13, 1941 in Vietnam, where she was raised. Lan came to the United States around 1984 and lived in the Annapolis area most of the time since then. Lan worked at Loew's Annapolis Hotel and retired after 24 years. She had many friends in the Annapolis area. She is survived by a brother in Canada, a brother in Vietnam, an aunt in Oregon and her long time friend Sherod Earle in Annapolis. Lan also had several other relatives around the world including a large family in Vietnam. A visitation will be held on Thursday October 16, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD 21401. Lan loved animals and gifts in her memory may be made to SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403.
