I first met Lana when Jim came to our Methodist congregation ( Faith UMC in Troutdale). It was his first pastorate and Lana did a lot to help their family fit into the community. She played the piano, sang in the choir, cooked for all the church functions... always with a smile. We stayed connected with her and Jim all through his Methodist career and they were staunch and supportive friends. After Jim died, we lost touch when she moved from AZ back to Tualatin to be near Jamie and Stephen....
