Read MoreLana lived with my family so she could finish high school. My folks loved her like family. It was while living with us that she won the Betty Crocker bake off with "Mystery Cake". We sure did get tired of eating it. She had to make so many of them to get through the process. Lana was a ray of sunshine to all that she touched. My condolences to the family.

Lana lived with my family in her senior year of high school. We had many good times and memories. I still use her pie crust recipe. Sorry for the family's loss. She was a kind soul.
