Lana Lee Seeger (née Hoch), passed away into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the age of 81.
Born on May 25, 1944, in Chesterfield, Missouri, Lana lived a life centered on love, family, and faith. She was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished most.
Lana was the beloved wife of the late Charles “Charlie” Seeger. She was previously married to Arthur E. Key, who also preceded her in death.
She was a loving mother to Terry (Curtis) Stanfill and Tracy Layton, and stepmother to Chris (Donna) Seeger, Travis (Star) Seeger and Miki (Dan) Kinkead. Lana was a devoted grandmother to Stephanie (Cory) Farley, James Stanfill, Brittany (Keith) Kampschroeder, Zachery (Evonne) Layton, Mandy (Justin) Stevens; stepgrandmother to Kira Seeger, Eva Seeger, T.J (Samm) Seeger, Mason (Souparni) Seeger and Camille Seeger. She was also a proud great-grandmother-affectionately known as “Gigi”-to Eli, Emma, Elena, Rosaley, Daston, Leo, Jax, Skyler, Emery, Elias, Summer and Winter.
Lana is survived by her dear brothers, Wayne Hoch and Byron Hoch, as well as beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. Lana loved cooking for her family, hosting holiday events and searching for treasures at garage sales, auctions and antique shops. Her home and heart were always open, and she created a welcoming space filled with warmth.
Above all, Lana will be remembered as a loving, caring, and supportive woman whose greatest priority was her family and her faith. Her legacy of kindness and devotion will live on in all who knew and loved her.
Services: Visitation at Schrader Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Rd. Ballwin, MO 63011, on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at Chesterfield Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. The interment will follow in Bellerive Gardens Cemetery.
