Lana was one of my dearest friends when we were working on our master's degree at the University of Arkansas in the 1960's. The first day Lana entered the classroom at USA I found her enthusiam infectious. I thought, if all my teachers would have been like her, I would have been a much better student. Her loving spirit touched me deeply. Bless you Lana, you are missed.

Lana was my friend and, as her pharmacist too, we shared so much talking about her illness, but also about books, movies, her garden, and, most of all, people. She was a great lady and I will miss her wonderful happy spirit and her always optimistic view of life. She will continue to be an inspiration for me. Thanks, Lana.
With much love, Mary Lindley
