Lance Fairbairn

Lance was the very first friend who taught me to walk out my faith. Through many bible studies, campouts, youth events and YoungLife meetings he was there to pray with me, encourage me, and correct me when I needed it. We shared a lot of laughs and a fair amount of tears. We cruised Main Street on Friday nights and spent hours sitting at a table at McDonalds talking about how wonderful our God is. So very saddened to hear about Lance passing. Enjoyed singing with him at WEFC many years back. He was a joy-filled worshipper of our Heavenly Father. Look forward to singing again with him in heaven!

I am so sorry to hear of Lance´s passing. You don´t know me, but I knew his grandmother, Frieda Fairbairn, when she lived in Claflin, KS. She and my grandma, Caroline Dressler, were next door neighbors. I remember her garden and most of all baking and decorating cookies in Mrs Fairbairn´s kitchen. Lance was a true encouragement to others, demonstrating joy beyond his circumstances. His smile will be missed.
