Not sure what to say?

I was devastated to hear the news of Lance´s passing. A beautiful and well said description of his many talents and a testament to his character. I worked with Lance from the beginning of my career and was one of the lucky ones that got to know him on a more personal level. His attention to detail and perfectionist nature made him a great teacher in his field of professional expertise (in addition to his many other talents). What a great, generous, talented man. He will always hold a special...

Earth & Sky Memorial

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will love you and miss you always.

A great warrior has passed through the earth. -Highlanders

So very sorry to hear and my thoughts are with his family and friends at this time. Our paths crossed but for a handful of years in the era of Nix Mann. He was a technical master and the one who taught me how to write specs. It is much too soon.

Such sad news. Lance was the one who always knew the answer to my many questions. Patient, kind, and generous... My favorite memory is he was the Nix, Mann & Assoc keeper of the replacement points for the Rapidograph pens we architects used back in the day. My condolences to Lance's family. Lance was a fellow wolfpack graduate and coworker of mine at Perkins+Will.

We miss you Lance. You contributed so much to Nix Mann and Perkins&Will over the decades, teaching so many of us the fundamentals of technical architecture. Thank you for everything.

Well that's just not fair. It's too soon to lose a guy like Lance. He and I worked together for 17 years. He was one of my favorite colleagues. When I got stuck on a technical detail, I could always count on Lance to point me in the right direction with kindness and patience. I appreciated Lance's warm smile and quick wit. His daughter was clearly the light of his life. He glowed when he talked about her. Please know my heart is with you, Beth, as you grieve this painful loss. I can't...
