Lance W. Knapp

Lance and I were in M.C. Boot Camp together (Plt. 311) from February 1961 until May; later at Camp Geiger. I have several photos of Lance from our time at ITR (Geiger) until he received orders for Port Leyotte (sp.?) Morocco. We never met after then but he and I were close during that time. I lived in B'klyn. and later worked for NY Tel., sometimes on Staten Island, but regretfully, never looked him up.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lance was a wonderful person. I wish I could have come up with Richard to see you. My prayers go out to you and your daughters. Hope to see you soon.

dear elizabeth: i was so sorry to hear about lance's passing. i remember back in the day when i was a kid and you guys first got married. i also remember the birth of your girls...lance was a wonderful man, husband and father. so sorry to hear of him passing once again. condolences to you all. love margaret

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Knapp, only two weeks ago you were at my father's wake. I feel terrible that this had to happen to you all. I will see you at the wake.

Michael, Patrick and I are praying for this wonderful family, all of whom we've been blessed to know and with whom we have had the pleasure of sharing a close friendship. Mr. Knapp was a wonderful man, and he will be missed dearly. We offer our love and prayers to Elizabeth, Liz and Angela, and the entire Knapp family...God Bless....
