Lance McKee

I was so sad to read of Lance's passing. Kathy and I worked together for many years at the Worcester Adult Learning Center. Kathy, I'm thinking of you and the kids and sending big hugs from me and my mom.

I am heartbroken to hear read of the death of Lance. My name is Mike Kluvert from Ghana west Africa. Lance help me to go to computer school, he sends me money on many occasions... I call him godfather.. He told even told his wife about me.... May his soul rest in peace

I met Lance on Zoom/Vanderbilt grp. So honored to have met him during that time. He seemed like a part of the family and I was so intrigued by him. After the 1st session on Zoom, I turned off the camera and cried. He looked EXACTLY like my father who passed away in 2015 from Pulmonary Fibrosis. Again, I am so sorry for your loss but know, Lance lives on in the hearts of the "Vandergang" group.

About 10 years ago I bought a solar oven. Soon after, I saw a different model at UUCW's yard sale. I bought it, thinking I could cook more things with two ovens. Being a yard sale, I paid much less than I had for my first one.
Come to find out Lance had donated it to the yard sale. Turns out it was significantly better designed than the one I had chosen! I have thought of him often over the years when I have used it.
