May God bless you and your family in this time of remembrance of a good man, father, husband and brother.

I was three or two when he died and I wish he didn't so soon because I was scared to see him. At a very young age I still thought monsters were real so it was scary to see him connected to all of these tubes(igleast is what I can remember from a young age) and I just feel so bad because whenever I would peek in the room he was in he would say hi....now I am 10 getting great grades and I hope he is up there looking down at me right now and grandma proud with the biggest smile a person could...

Lance had a gentle soul and was a wonderful brother. Even though we did not spend a lot of time together once he started college and later joined the Air Force, we communicated as often as we could in an age without computers and cell phones. I'll miss him terribly but I know he is finally without pain and in a better place with our Mother.
