Funeral for Lance Peck, 33, of Somerville will be Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steven Smith and Bro. Jerry Stapler officiating.
Burial will be in Whitaker Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Peck passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009. He was born Dec. 21, 1976, in Madison County to Bill and Bonnie Peck. His brother, Bob Peck, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Tabitha May Peck; four sons, Dylan Chase Peck, William Tyler Peck, Sebastian Blake Peck and Devin Fayne Peck, all of Somerville; his parents, Bill and Bonnie Peck of Somerville; one brother, Ricky Parton of Huntsville; and two sisters, Jan Parton and Anita Young, both of Somerville.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Parton, Jason Wilbanks, Nick Young, Dylan Peck, Robbie Elliot, Dewayne Mitchell and Bryan Crow.

So sad about Lance. I got to see him just a few months ago at Mike's office. I will never forget the curls he used to give away as a child. Praying the Lord will see you all through this. God Bless those precious boys of his.

My thoughts and sympathy is with the family of Lance. I still remember him as a little boy with curly blonde hair aggrovating Jan and Anita and running around the ball fields cheering for them too. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
