Joni, I just found out yesterday, from Dave Winer, and I just wanted to give you my deepest condolences and sympathy. All my thoughts are with you.

Joni..........words cannot express my sadness, when I learned about Lance. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. although I did not know Lance very well, what I remember was a very genuine and "real" person......if there is anything I can do for you, please call me...........God bless all of you....

Dear Joni. Leigh and Michael
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My sympathy goes out to you and your family.

Joni,
I was saddened to hear of your loss. I have prayed for you and your family over the last several months. May your wonderful memories bring you comfort and peace.

Joni, Mike and Leigh,
Lance and I went to BRHS together. He was always one of the coolest guys!! I enjoyed riding in his white pickup truck because not only was it cool, but you never knew if the gears were going to mesh. He was always fun to be with. He was so generous!

He addressed everyone as "hi, Bud" and I truly believed that he considered everyone to be his buddy.

He will be missed, but his memory will live on.

My prayers are with you.

Sincerely,

Joni,

Even though I have not seeen you both in years,,,,I well remember all the good times as a young girl and teenager with Lance...As one of my brother's friends...he was always very nice to me. Lance treated me with lots of kindness and as one of "the guys" little sisters...he made me feel very special. I will always remember him for the warm, generous and kind person that he was.

Once when we were eating lunch at my house I accidentally...

Our heartfelt sympathy are with your family in this time of grief. Mr. Ruble was a great inspiration to many as a coach, but more as a friend.
My benevolent memory of Lance was on the dock in the back of your home in Copper City. Mike, Robert A. and my Brother Rick were on the boat. They were going fishing on the lake and the boys said there was no room for me, so I had to stay. As began to hook my line with that extra special Bass-Assassin...

Joni, I was very sadden to hear of Lance's passing. He was very instrumental in the lives of many of our children it was our good fortune and an honor to have known him. His kindness and generosity will be missed. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

..........For Lance ...........

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes,
He...
