My condolences to Lance's family and loved ones. We worked together on many Press stories, and mention of his intensity and low tolerance for sloppiness makes me laugh out loud remembering those things about him. I'm honored I got to work with him.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of this fine man! Heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
Lance and I crossed paths many times over many years, with him capturing the moments of the events that I produce, our string band Hawks and Owls, and once at my home during a story being reported there.
He was a kind human, extremely talented, and I loved when he shared stories with me.
Lance will be missed, and not forgotten.

Our Sympathy to the family of Lance Wynn.
It's with pleasure that I recall meeting this great photographer at Sand Hills Lighthouse in the 1990s when he and Pat S. were there covering a story about a new B&B. - And I recall the fun we had shooting the potato cannon out over Lake Superior that evening.

I worked with Lance often during my years as a sportswriter with the Grand Rapids Press and he was indeed the ultimate professional. He was there to record the story, never to influence or manipulate it and he always did so in the finest manner. My prayers are with his family.
