Not sure what to say?

What a Special Individual. . .more creativity within a Man than we can imagine. Landis has left his creative "expressions" among us to enjoy for years to come: Beautiful artwork, Crafts, Planes >too many to recall, but most of all, his Spirit.
My Husband & I have the honor of having one of his FIRST paintings, in a special spot in our home, to remind us everyday of our Friend. . .who will be sadly missed. Also, we will treasure our visit, just months ago, with Candice & Lanny!

In sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. We have Landis' painting of downtown Shippensburg - with the train - in my son, Alex's, room. He loves trains. I told him a 'friend of Mommy's painted it' - so it is very special. He was a good, talented man and an inspiration to anyone who has had a few bumps in the road in life. With love, Erin (McCormick) Morton

As young teens we were the best of pals. It saddens me that we lost touch, you are thought of often and will be missed.

Old friend, as kids we would gaze up at the sky in wonderment as we flew our home-made kites. Adulthood took us in different circles at times but when we met up from time to time we would pick up where we left off and time stood still for a while. Now as I gaze at the sky, I reflect on a life-long friendship and know we will meet up again. So long old friend.

Mike and I will always think of Landis fondly. His painting of the Stearman is hanging in our home and everytime we look at it we will think of him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Time to fly my old friend, may you forever be doing your " loop "t" loops"!

We are so sorry to hear of Landis's passing. My father truly enjoyed flying with Landis in his aerobatic plane and our entire family cherishes the painting of the Waynesboro Airport that Landis gave to my dad as a token of their shared love of flying. On behalf of the Stephen Swartz family, our deepest condolences.
