Not sure what to say?

this man has left me alot of good things and his great memory, loving, caring, cheerful ways and the best thing he left me is his great legacy my last name.
I Love You Always and Forever
Your Memory Will Never Stop Shy of My Heart
Love Your Grandson
Anthony Paul Smith

IN LOVING MEMORY

If tears could build a stairway
and memories a lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again
No farewell words were spoken
no time to say goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
and only God knows why
My heart still aches with sadness
and secret tears still flow
What it meant to say I love you
No one can ever know
But now I know you want me
to mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy...

Someone else might look at this man as just a father and father in law and grandfather but when I see this man I see a wonderful man who loves his family. I love him and miss him so dearly.

This seems like it is a nightmare and I will wake up to having my grandpa call me and tell me that everything is okay. I will forever love him and miss. He taught me alot of things for me to carry thur life and those things I will hold close to my heart. Grandpa Lanny I love you and miss you already.

Farewell Lanny, fellow Airman. No greater honor can be bestowed; you have served your country well. Now rest in peace.

He is Just Away

I cannot say, I will not say
That he is dead. He is just away!
With a cheery smile
And a wave of the hand
He has wandered into an unknown land
And left us dreaming how very fair
It needs must be,
Since he lingers there;
So think of him faring on, as dear
In the love of There as the love of Here
Think of him still
As the same, and say
He is not dead, he is just away.
