Not sure what to say?

Vicki & Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours during this difficult time. God bless you all. Asalyn Hughes

Myself and Jeff Jacobs had Lanny and Ratliff to our house for my first Thanksgiving in Germany. His main dish to have was Mac-Cheese like his mom made needless to say the pressure was on. I must say as well along with Jeff his support of me playing softball was amazing, my memory of all the softball games I attended and watched is the best, and yes he had a way of getting under your skin and me being a Gamecock fan. GOD SPEED Lanny.

Lanny was exactly the right teammate I needed as a new Chief. He pulled no punches and got the mission done. He set the tone and I appreciated his mentorship and friendship. I am grateful to have known him.

I´m so thankful to have met Lanny at Cannon AFB and his beautiful family. Such a great person. I´m saddened to hear of this news. He made an impact on my life. Always providing me with great advice and so much fun to be around. You will be missed. God bless!

Mrs. Brooks, you may not remember me but I worked for Lanny at Vandenberg from 2000 until y´all PCS´d. I learned so much from him over those years and he was a major inspiration of mine. Because of his mentorship I was eventually promoted to CMSgt. My most sincere condolences to you and your family. Thank you for sharing him with the world. Ryan K-9 Kaono

Vicki & Family,
My heart goes out to you all. I had the pleasure to get to know him in our UDM meetings. He was a happy person and loved his smile. He could brighten up a room!! Yes, he will be missed!
