Just heard of Lanny's passing. Ive known him for almost 30 years as Big Al from a movie I can literally quote line for line. Good on him for all his achievements and thank you for serving our country. May heaven bless you full of pork chops and green jello, the greener one!!!

Ray as we all called him back in the day was my cousin. We didn´t share much time with each other during our early years but eventually connected over our interest in our ancestors. Last time I saw Lanny I visited him at his childhood home in Troy and we sat on the porch and talked for hours. He will truly be missed. He was a bright spot in my life.
