So sad to hear Lanny has passed. We had been neighbors for over 35 years at Sunrise Village in Middleton. I will always remember Lanny 's helping hand being a close neighbor. He weathered the storm, snow and or rain..never a hesitation to assist me when I knocked on his door. To Kathy, and family...God Bless you..and in my prayers , thoughts during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers for the family. I had known Lanny for years and loved his great sense of humor and during any conversation that we had, he spoke of his family and his beloved wife. He was a dear friend...You will be missed.

Whether at the beach with the grandchildren at Sunrise Lake, playing a game of cribbage, going to baseball games, riding with Jon to plow, helping to sheetrock yet another house of ours, Lanny was there. He offered insight and wisdom. And always with his beloved soulmate, Kathy, who was never far behind. How we will miss him! He...
