Not sure what to say?

I went to my step-sons open house and found out that Mr. Morresey was his teacher, he recognized me off the bat and wow did it bring up some memories. We spoke about you and how I had a big crush always trying to sit or be teamed up with you, lol. He didn't know you passed away and he got a little chocked up, then I got chocked up because I remember your funeral and how heartbreaking it was. Thanks for the memories and fun times, thanks for serving our country, wish we could have had more...

I know this is long afterwards but I just found out. Although I don't know the specifics of what happened I am truly saddened. Lantz and I were stationed in Germany together. We became friends and eventually we went our seperate ways from there. I remember Lantz always joking and laughing. We had allot of good times. I remember I was always wishing I could play the guitar like him. He had a true talent in that guitar. We also talked allot while we were in Iraq in 2003 together. I...

My beautiful son! Your voice has been silent for 2 years now, but your smile and all of my memories of you are very much alive. Your sister, your brothers, your niece and your nephews went with me last Sunday to Long Beach to be in the last of your favorite places! We went to places you took us and remembered how much fun we had the last time we were there with you! You made everything so much fun and we have such happy memories of our short time with you! We miss you and cherish all the...

One thing you taught me was to think before you speak, so sorry it took me so long. I’ve just been thinking, I miss you. You’re my brother, father, and best friend. You taught me almost everything I know - you’re everything to me. Its funny man I probably talk to you more now than when I actually could. I could stare at your pictures and have a full on conversation with you. Sometimes I think I’m crazy but I swear I could hear or feel you like your right beside me, like your talking...

Lantz you truly were/are a gift to this world. I had so much fun growing up with you...through elementary, jr. high, and high school. You were a lifelong friend, and you have such a sweet spirit. I know you are with Jesus, and just as He had plans for you here and used you to impact and love so many people, He has plans for you in heaven. Lantz thank you for being such a sweet friend, kind, and caring. It's funny to me looking back on our "Van Horn Posse" I realise that for everyone you were...
