Read MoreLara was a great friend and I was fornutate to have worked with and learn from him. He was by far one of the most intelligent persons I had the pleasure of knowing. We shared many trying times in Alaska followed by many more positive and funny times. A lasting memory of mine was when I had taken both Lara and Alice on a float fishing trip down the Kenai River. Both caught fish that day. Very memorable.
