I find this so hard to believe! I never thought Laron would die, he was so much like an anchor, solid. He was such a wonderful man and mentor. I started working for him at HU in February 1994. I missed him so much when he left for Moorehouse. I left Hampton in 1998, but kept in touch with him over the years. I can say that in my 44 years or working he was the best manager I have had, or will every have. He was a manager you wanted to do your best for and when he said, "thank you, I...

We are so saddened by the loss of Mr. Laron Clark, a kind spirit that will truly be missed. Praying for peace and comfort to the family and that you will continuously reflect on all the good times you shared with him.

Mr.Clark will be missed, he was always delighted to see me, even when I was being persistent on issues I felt strongly. He was a Gentleman at all times and he will be remembered by me as a "class act". Rest in peace and I will find someone to answer the December 11 email I sent to you. I certainly was looking forward to working with you on the Armstrong-Slater Renovation Project.
