LaRoy F. Smith, 87, of Yuma, died May 12, 2011, at Palm View Rehabilitation and Care Center.He was born June 17, 1923, in Grand Rapids, Mich., was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a deputy sheriff.Arrangements are pending at Johnson Mortuary.
