I'm saddened to learn of Larraine's passing. I met Bob and Larraine through Barbara VonDran when they offered me a place to stay for several months at the apartment behind the inn; while I was working in the region over 30 years ago. Larraine was especially kind to me, and often prepared special meals for me. In later years my family dined there as well. I'll never forget how I was welcomed into the Bear Creek community. God bless her soul, and the entire Eddowes family.

So sorry to hear of her passing. I will always have great memories of the Inne.

I knew Larraine for many years when I would be in town and visit the BEAR CREEK INN for dinner with friends. She was always extremely kind and an enjoyment to visit with through out the years always hoping THE BEAR CREEK INN and Larraine would always be there. Denise and all the family, I truly send my condolences for your loss and will have a MASS said at THE UNIVERSITY of NOTRE DAME to celebrate her most rewarding life. GOD BLESS TO YOU ALL. Jack Thomas
