Larraine T. Marshall

Larraine "brought up" our neighborhood, several generations of us. She taught us to be community minded--to help with the Oak Park library book sales, to attend library events & Oak Park Community Meetings, to do neighborhood clean-ups like painting Howard's gate(when she was only 88), to attend Walkabout walks she led like the Golden Hills walk and the St. Patrick's Day parade walk, to distribute newsletters, She even invited a 3 year old to bid at the Walkabout annual auctions.
