SANDY SPRINGS - James Larry Ellison, 77, of 6004 Clemson Boulevard, died Saturday, September 1, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born August 13, 1935 in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Forest and Clara Holland Ellison. He was the owner and operator of Ellison's Produce for 34 years. Mr. Ellison was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Swift Cain of the home; stepson, Jimmy Cain of Sandy Springs; stepdaughter, Cathy Blume of Anderson; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Ellison and a stepdaughter, Diane Floyd.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Ron Culbertson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The family is at the home of his stepson, Jimmy Cain, 315 Circle Drive, Pendleton.
