Larry Lee Aaron Sr.

Larry Lee Aaron Sr., 71, Russiaville, passed away at 9:59 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2011 in Howard Regional Health System. He was born January 12, 1940 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late William H. and Helen M. (Deweese) Aaron. On February 12, 1965 in Kokomo, he married Ruth E. (Goff); and she survives. He served in the United States Marines and then went to work at Chrysler after being honorably discharged; he retired from Chrysler in 1997 after 33 years of service. He enjoyed NASCAR, old western shows, and was a car enthusiast. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ruth E. Aaron, Russiaville, son and a daughter in law; Larry Lee and Janet Aaron Jr., Kokomo, daughter and a son in law; Melissa and Dale Hill, Greentown, thirteen grandchildren; Aaron, Andrew, Alissa, Greg, Lindsay, Zachary, B'Elanna, Kristina, Ryan, Courtney, Bryce, Faith and Zachary, six great-grandchildren; Alyx, Alara, Amara, Cyanne, Isabella and Isaac. Also surviving are five brothers and three sisters in law; Carl and Sarah Aaron, Kokomo, Thomas and Carol Aaron, Russiaville, Daniel Aaron, Kokomo, Norman Aaron, Kokomo, James and Barbara Aaron, Kokomo, two sisters; Elma Rose Harner, Kokomo, June Kay Hobbs, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; William Aaron and one sister; Imagene Bogue. Funeral services for Larry will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, with Pastor Steve Fritchman officiating. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
