Not sure what to say?

To Bonnie & family,
I am saddened to read of Larry's passing & extend to you & your family my Sincerest Sympathy.
Larry was principal at Hampstead Elementary where I taught for twenty-two years. Following a topsy-turvy two years prior to his coming, he was welcome sunshine! I will always remember his BIG SMILE which he wore every day, all day! While we had our odds many times, his best interest was for the school & the children. THANKS for the memories!
I'm certain God's...

Condolences and prayers
from the Conover family. Larry and the rest of the Bair family served as 4-H mentors and good friends as we were growing up. Life well lived while serving others. Rest peacefully with the father and bring solace and comfort to the family.

I was shocked and saddened when I read of Larry's death. I worked with him for many years and fondly remember him. He was pleasant, conscientious, humorous, and always had his students and staff as his priority. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

Larry Bair was one of the first people I ever trusted growing up. His kindness, compassion, and understanding helped me through some very difficult family issues. I remember he would look at me, shake his head and say, "Juanita....what am I going to do with you? Let's go call your Dad." I was a very shy kid, which let to the running joke at the time "For someone who never has anything to say, you sure tie up my phone line for hours on end..." He had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a...

I have fond memories of Mr. Bair as my principal when I attended Hampstead Elementary School as a young girl. We had the pleasure of crossing paths again many many years later when he gave me my first teaching job at Spring Garden Elementary School. He remembered me the first day I walked into the office during my student teaching. It was an honor to serve as a teacher along side him. He always put the welfare and interests of the students first and strongly supported his staff. I have...

Mr. Bair was a loving part of my entire life. After moving with my family across the street from him at age 5, I can remember not only the first time I met him, but also the last time I saw him. The first time was meet the teacher night at Manchester Elem where I attended school with his children. I also met my “other brother” Darryl his son, a great childhood and adult friend of mine, the Larry, Darryl and Darrell thing was a long standing humorous joke for the family. The last time I saw...

I was thinking of him just the other day. Hampstead and many of us who grew up there owe him a debt of gratitude. He was a big part of what made Hampstead such a great place. Thank you, Mr. Bair, and rest in peace.

I worked with Larry for many years when he was a principal at Spring Garden. He was a man who supported his staff, loved his students and was a stellar principal. I am very saddened to hear of his passing but he left this world sorrounded by his loving family. I hope this brings comfort. RIP Larry.
