I was one of those who apprenticed with Larry in 1968. He was a good horseshoer and a good guy. He knew a lot about a lot of things and was great at sharing them. I was proud to be his friend and will miss him.

I forgot to mention he had a Doberman named "Traveler" who always guarded his truck!

Larry was our blacksmith many years ago about 50 years ago actually. I was just a little girl but I remember him like it was yesterday. He was so kind and patient with my young horse and I learned so much from him! I wanted to be a blacksmith when I grew up. I'm sure he will be missed by many and ill never forget him!

Larry was a wonderful man and family friend. May God be with all.

sorry to hear of your loss. Larry was a classmate and friend . I remember sharing ag stories at the last class reunion. thoughts and prayers. Dave & BJ Davidson
