Dr. Larry Allen Berglind passed away peacefully at his Simpsonville home at 4:30 a.m. on May 14, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. Always an early riser, it seems fitting that he chose the quiet morning hours to take his final run: free at last, with a perfect mind and spirit. Larry was...

Not sure what to say?

I will never forget our bicycle trip from BJU back to Hartford. The Greenville News wrote, "Two BJU Students to Peddle Religion 1000 miles." It took us eight days to reach our Farmington Ave. Baptist Church in West Hartford. I am still riding bicycle todays and enjoy jogging 5 miles a day through Greer, SC.

Dr. Berglind was a family friend and my PCP for many years. My family and his family went to church together at Southside Baptist Church. His family came and planted a tree in our front yard in honor of my mother's brother who had passed. I have very vivid memories from my childhood of hiding from him while my mother and I would wait in an exam room, and he would always play along and pretend that he couldn't find me and it was just a very cute/fun game we played for years. His family is in...

It was a great honor and experience to work at Holly Tree Family Practice for several years. Dr Berlin´s was the kindest and most fair employer I ever worked for. I thank God for the opportunity not just to work for him but to call him my friend. My prayers for the family in the days ahead.

Our love and sympathy goes out to the entire Berglind family! Our thoughts and prayers are with you as well! Love, Brad, Jane, Elliott, & Matt Courter

Larry, Joe Wood, Dave Wood and me ran a lot of miles together. Larry was always a joy to be around. He will be missed.

We were neighbors of the Berglind family on Glenbriar Ct. for several years. We had many get togethers with everyone and all the kids had a great time in our cul-de-sac. Larry was always rescuing children with scraped knees and bruises. Larry was such a kind soul to everyone. He will be greatly missed by family and community.

Single Memorial Tree

When my family and I first met Dr. Berglind it was in the Dr., client relationship which quickly became a friendship as well. Dr. Berglind cared for our family in the upmost professional, compassionate and loving manner. When we were sick through Gods anointing and direction God directed Dr. Berglind with the knowledge to prescribe what we needed to restore our health. Dr. Berglind will be missed and never forgotten. He will continue to live on in our hearts. Thank you Breglind family for...

Larry was a great man who I had the privilege of working with him at the hospital for many years. He was also my personal doctor. May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.
