Not sure what to say?

I just today learned the sad news of Larrys passing. I hope my nostalgic comments about Larry will somehow find a member of his family.

I met Larry Bingham when I was 16, in 1963 he was my freshman Physics lab instructor at Murray State University. We became good friends and recollections of my college years are filled with indelible mental snapshots of Larry:

Singing folk songs as he chaperoned a group of summer high school students

Eating watermelons on...

My dear Rusty,

I only just learned of your beloved Bingham's passing last night . I am so very sorry. Please know that you are in my heart. I wish you and your family all the peace and comfort the universe and God can give. Love to you and yours, Darlene

My sympathy to Rusty and all Larry's family. He was my favorite calligraphy student. I was honored to teach him Spencerian script. I so enjoyed his Christmas cards. Also enjoyed seeing him and Rusty at all the Learning Quest classes. A very special sweet person.

I am very sorry to hear the sad news.I met Larry soon after I joined Teledyne Brown Engineering in 1981. We worked together on several missile defense projects. He was an excellent physicist and always very positive in his approach to solving challenging technical problems. I am sure that he and Rusty enjoyed retired life in Huntsville. I know that he will be missed and my sincere condolences to the family.

We are so sorry to hear of Larry's death. He was a wonderful neighbor and we will miss him.

I worked with Larry for many years and was happy to meet up with him again in our retirements. His wit, his perceptive questions and curiosity were always a joy to see. I'll miss him.
