Dear Mr.Border, I was in your 5th grade class at Blythe street school in 1965. I was the oldest of five children and had just moved to California. You were that very special teacher in my life. You made me feel special at a time in my life when I felt so left out. I still have the tie clip you gave me on the last day of school. It has a "L" on it, you said to remember me by. L for Larry or L for Lonnie. Thank you Mr. Border for making a difference in a little girls life I never forgot...
