Not sure what to say?

Larry was a sweet, thoughtful and kind man. He was a wonderful principal and I loved working for him. I followed him to several schools and in each school he worked with staff to improve. By years-end many did improve and we also had fun working for him. After we had both retired we would go out to lunch and then drive around looking for frozen yogurt. That was a treat we both enjoyed.

Larry was a sweet, thoughtful and kind man. He was a wonderful principal
and I loved working for him as did so many others. I followed him to 3-4
schools in the Beaverton District.

Hello,
My name is Sherry Van Roekel. I knew your wonderful father, Larry, when I was parent volunteer at Rock Creek Elementary when our 2 daughters were there.
I was saddened to learn of his passing. He was an incredible man , so thoughtful and kind. He had all the makings for an incredible principal. And that he was! He listened with not only his ears, but with his eyes as well. He guided and took care of his students and staff with expert hands.
He clearly adored your mother...

To Grant and entire Bosshardt- My sympathies for your loss, and prayers for strength.

I was fortunate enough to have Mr. Bosshardt as my school principal for all but one of my years at Rock Creek Elementary. He knew every student by name and greeted each one of us daily. One of my most favorite memories of him was being invited to share lunch with him every June, with other students that had summer birthdays. I remember my next door neighbor, Matt, being there each year as well, as we both had birthdays in July. One year, Mr. Bosshardt said to us, with his gentle smile and...

I was a 5th grade student at Terra Linda Elementary School when it opened in 1970 (wow, 50 years ago!). My siblings all attended Terra Linda, I believe all with Mr. Bosshardt as Principal. As we kids grew up, my mother, Carol York (Loree), decided to go back to work, and her first job was a school secretary at Terra Linda, working for Larry. As he moved to various schools my mom always followed up until she went back to PSU to obtain a degree and become a teacher herself. She and Larry were...

I went to Terra Linda Elementary in the 70s, and I remember Mr Bosshardt well. He indeed was a beloved Principal that the kids loved and respected. Rest in Peace Mr Bosshardt and condolences to his family.

I remember Larry as a kind, patient man when he was principal at Vose School. He always had time for a conversation and to offer helpful advice. Larry was an exceptional professional and friend. I feel privileged to have known him.

He was such a warm friend to all who knew him. I am blessed to have known him. His children are blessed to be able to call him, "Dad".
