Not sure what to say?

Larry was and continues to be a very positive energy in my life. And for that I am most grateful. Your friend, Dick Bower

I would have liked to be at some portion of a tribute to Larry, so I'll do it here. He and I worked together at OCCMH in the 1990 decade. He? As one of my favorite doctors for my clients to see because he was both a psychiatrist and a family practitioner and a D.O. to boot. Nith me and my clients would gain all kinds of knowledge about how physical health impacted mental health and vice versa. But my greatest joy came from joining a mission group to Haiti led by Larry and sponsored by the SL...

I don't know if any of you rember me, Mary might. I was a nurse at Seville and cared for Grandmother Louise for several years. That is how I knew Larry and Nancy and many others of your family. I have many fond memories of your family. I know Larry and Nancy are in Heaven but you miss them. Best wishes and prayers for your family. Jan LeBrun

When Larry moved to the Village at the Pines, he and I soon became friends. For the Village residents, he was a prince, especially at dinnertime. In the brief time of our friendship, his counsel in personal, hematological, and dermatological matters lifted my spirits. After I moved to Grand Pine Assisted Living, he twice visited me before he too left the Village. He was a wise and compassionate follower of Jesus. May he rest in the Lord's peace.

Heaven gained one of the best.

Larry was a wonderfilled human being. His goodness will live on in family, friends and all who came in contact with him.

Larry was an exceptional man of faith and service to others. I met him at North Presbyterian Church and we began to have lunches together. I helped him move to Grand Haven after he left Kalamazoo. Larry was very kind, generous and helpful to me. He set a good example of a Christian man living his faith. I will always be in his debt.

Larry was a spiritual mentor to me and countless others in small groups that he led. His faith was strong, his spirit large and his legacy boundless. Love the guy!
