Larry Joe Brasfield

Larry Joe Brasfield, 46 of Millport, AL passed away Monday, January 26, 2009 at his residence.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 5 – 7 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 7 pm in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating.

Mr. Brasfield was born May 7, 1962 in Columbus, MS to Patricia Hudson Hamby and Billy Lee Brasfield. He was a lifetime resident of Millport, Al and a self-employed painter for the past thirty-one years. Mr. Brasfield loved to hunt, fish and working on cars. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents – Bill and Iver Hudson; paternal grandparents – Larry and Allie Mae Brasfield; niece – Jessica Brasfield and step-father – Frank Hamby.

Mr. Brasfield is survived by his mother – Patricia Hamby, Columbus, MS; father – Billy (Judy) Brasfield, Columbus, MS; sister – Christine Estes, Birmingham, AL; brothers – Billy (Charlotte) Brasfield, Jr., Timpson, TX and William “Huggie” (Emily) Brasfield, Millport, AL; five nieces, one special nephew and one great nephew.

Honorary Pallbearers will be all of his friends.
