Not sure what to say?

Its funny how our memories work, and when I think of Larry, its almost always something funny. Many years ago we were working together at a work weekend at the Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch. For some unusual reason, Larry and I were assigned to work in the dining hall. We were filling serving bowls with peaches, and Larry started speeding things up. He would open the can with a crank type can opener, pitch the lid in the trash, the peaches in the bowl, and then the can into the trash. When he...

A few Sundays back I was tying my tie to get ready for church. As I stood there looking in the mirror and tied the tie in a double Windsor knot, which is the only knot I know how to tie a necktie with, my mind went back to a Christmas long ago. I can't believe so many years have gone by since you left us my dear friend. Mom has left us since then, too, and so I can imagine some of the conversations that you might be having with her and my Dad. You might not know it, but I think they loved you as much as I did; they wanted us to be friends and were glad to have you come and stay with us at our house when we were growing up. My sister Cory is coming to visit in a few days. She probably still hasn't forgiven us for eating the rice...

Still missing you,

Still missing you down here, You were taken from us way to early in life.

Sure miss you down here..

Still missing you my Friend, there is hardly a day goes by without me thinking of you.

Merry Christmas my Friend, you are still greatly missed..

Janet I'm so sorry to here that Larry has left us here on this earth. I was the explorer advisor for the explorer post that Larry and curtis were members of in the 60's. I have some great memories of that scout group and will always remember Larry. My wife and I offer you our condolences and we look forward to talking with Larry about old times on the other side of this life. David & Beverly Mohn Maricopa Arizona 85139
