Not sure what to say?

So many wonderful memories of Larry, Mary Ann & family - He would be so proud of you all. Here's a photo from one of the many good times with my parents. (pictured L to R: Darryl & Audrey Estes, Bake & Alice Bacon, Mary Ann & Larry Buchan)

Thank you for sharing Mr B with us all, He was a favorite of mine. He will always be in my heart as will all the Buchans. May all the wonderful memories help you through the hard days. Peace to you all!

When I was 15 my first job was at Baskin-Robbins on 41st, Mr.B was a very kind man, always had a smile on his face when he stopped in. My prayers are with Him and his family.

I am so sorry for your loss of such a kind, friendly man. I worked at CostCutter and StockMarket foods where Larry often came in and bought bananas for his ice-cream stores. He always joked that he had a monkey, gorilla, or that he bought Baskin and Robbins stores to put his kids to work when they couldn't find a job. When my husband and I bought our first home, there came Larry the water inspector. He was such a nice guy and always had a smile on his face and loved to laugh. He will be...

My first time to meet Larry was at a house that his daughter Cindy was sharing with my wife Sharron and their good friend Janet. A family van pulled up in the driveway and out piled the entire Buchan family after one of their many family outings. The one thing I will always remember was the laughter and love that came from that van as the entire family got out to say hi. Larry "Lar" was the perfect example of what it meant to be a "family man." His laughter and kindness will be greatly missed.

Some of the joy and love of Larry & MaryAnn

Our whole family aches with this news. Thank you for the many, many years of laughter, quirkiness, and joy. We wish you well celebrating the life of this wonderful, dear man. He will always be my dad's best grade school friend.

Too soon a departure for a great guy. He leaves a legacy of a great family, fond memories, and a genuinely positive (and tolerant) impact on many lives and multiple generations. I am fortunate to have known him.

My condolenses to the Buchan family. I worked for him well going through college. My favorite memory of Mr. B was him delivering milk and bananas to his stores. I always enjoyed seeing his smiling face at Costco. He will be missed.
