Not sure what to say?

As a long-time friend and associate, Larry Carp shall always remain close to my heart and mind.

Larry Carp's departure was a shocking news, depriving his friends and admirers at WAFUNIF and elsewhere of his love and affection.

As a compatriot of my beloved husband Northrop Hardy Kirk, both being memebrs of the first United Nations Internes and Fellows group, he became virtually as our family member. He visited us occasionally, scattering his love and concern for us all. We all will miss him profoundly.

Dorothy Kirk

The sudden demise of WAFUNIF Board Member Richard "Larry" Carp is not only a shock to WAFUNIF but also to me, for Larry was not only an exemplar leader that helped steer WAFUNIF through difficult times but also an inspiration for many in the WAFUNIF Secretariat. His loss has been the loss of a dear friend and mentor since 1985. IIMSAM stands with WAFUNIF in solidarity at this hour of grief.

Remigio Maradona, Secretary-General of IIMSAM

I met Larry Carp only once during 1998 at the WAFUNIF Award Ceremony in New York. Yet, I will always remember him as a great man. My heartiest condolences!

I am really sorry to hear that. He seemed to be very smart and dedicated person. May God bless him, and give patience to his family.

I noted the lovely Larry passed away, and understand his cotnribution to our WAFUNIF since his joining. Yes, we all felt such a regret for his passing, but for sure God's mercy and blessing will be with him in the celestial Kingdom!

"Peter Yue"

It is sad that Larry passed away. He was such a good friend of all of us. (WAFUNIF members and specially those of the first group of United Nations Internes and Fellows).

Although I have not met Larry Carp in person, it is with great sadness that I have learned about his passing. I will always remember the warmth and wisdom of his voice while he spoke during the WAFUNIF Board meetings. I extend my deepest feelings of sympathy to his family, adn to all those who have known and appreciated Larry for his major achievements.
