Larry Cassady

Larry Cassady of Florala won his battle against cancer January 20, 2023. He was born October 5, 1956 in Florala the son of Ollie Cassady and Junita Dennis Cassady.

Larry worked with his family in the logging industry. He later started his own lawn maintenance business and was the owner and operator of Cassady Bait and Tackle in Mossey Head, Florida. He was known as an exceptional pool player and expert fisherman.  In his spare time he enjoyed yard sales. His Faith in Jesus Christ sustained him as he bravely fought cancer. He fought the good fight. He kept the faith. He finished the race. He was preceded in death by father, Ollie Cassady; mother, Junita Dennis Cassady; sister, Barbara Sue Dennis. 

He is survived by his wife Deloris Messer Cassady, sons, Nathan Cassady and wife Michelle and Caley Cassady and wife Elizabeth, grandchildren Alex Cassady, Nickalous Cassady, Daniel Sanders Cassady and Makayla Cassady, great grandchildren, April Cassady, Thors Cassady and Luna Cassady.

Funeral services for Larry Cassady will be 2PM Monday January 23, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home with Rex Cassady officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
