Long Beach, California
Larry Michael Conner "Mike" Mike was born September 12, 1966 in Long Beach, Ca. to Davalee (Dee Dee)Conner and Larry Michael Conner Sr. He lived most of his life in Long Beach and attended Southern California Military Academy in Signal Hill, Ca. for 9 years. He moved to Maui, Ha. with his mom 1981 for a year and started High School there. When they returned from Maui, he lived in Costa Mesa, Ca. where he attended and graduated from Costa Mesa High School. He later settled in Westminster, Ca. when he married Carra Conner-Chiantaretto in 2002. They had a beautiful daughter Haley Conner in January 2004, and she's always been the love of his life and always will be. Mike later moved to Huntington Beach, Ca. where he resided with his daughter, mom and grandmother. Mike always loved sports, and you could find him as a kid laying with his Grandpa watching baseball, basketball and football. The LA Rams were his favorite since childhood, and he still was a faithful fan when they left for St. Louis. Mike loved traveling and going to events, concerts, amusement parks, etc. He regularly took his daughter Haley who was the light of his life to Knott's, Disneyland and SeaWorld. He took many cruises over his lifetime and over the last few years had introduced Haley to cruising and got her hooked too. As a teenager Mike was a hard core Heavy Metal fan and you could catch him wearing leather pants, and donning a spiky hairdo with his buddy Jim and cousin Ray going to see Motley Crue, Def Leopard, Bon Jovi, etc. He loved music and always thought he was a great singer himself, and didn't care when we laughed at him. He loved his family dearly, his Grandpa Dave Hofferd and Grandma LaRue Hofferd were a huge part of his life and helped his mom raise him when his father passed away in 1970. The family always had such great times at Holidays and family gatherings, and he was very close to his cousins, Anjanette and Raymond whom he got into a lot of mischief with over the years. Mike was large as life, with an amazing smile that would light up a room, a sense of humor like no tomorrow and was a huge teddy bear full of love. He was taken from us too soon and will be missed terribly, but never forgotten. He will live in our hearts forever. Mike is survived by his Mother, Dee Dee Conner; Sister, Suzanne Conner-Esparza; Daughter, Haley Conner; Brother in-law, John Esparza; Carra Conner-Chiantaretto; God-mother, Pamela Woodward; Aunt, Darlene Leyerly and Cousins Anjanette Wellman and Raymond Leyerly. And, many loving friends.

Daddy, It is crazy to think that five years ago today we lost your big and amazing soul, but I know you're still here with us in spirit and watching over me and all of your friends and family. Words cannot explain how much I love and miss you.

Mike, I will never forget you. Not a single day goes by that I dont miss that laugh, positive attitude and that beautiful heart of yours.
You were one of the kindest most loving human beings Ive ever known.
Mike was always there for friends, or even people he hardly knew when they needed help, and the love he had for his incredible mom, Dee Dee, his Grandma Granny Goose, Suzanne and Haley was beyond words. I loved the closeness of your family.
To all of Mikes...
