Tarring Cargo Funeral Home Obituary

Larry William Cook died Tuesday, September 20 at his home in Edgewood. He was 63. Born in Newport Vermont he was the son of Lorraine Wheeler Carter of Edgewood and the late Charles Cook. Mr. Cook proudly served his country for over 20 years in the U.S. military. An avid fan of NASCAR he also enjoyed old country music, snowmobiling, fishing and camping. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth L. Cook; daughters, Jodie Russell and her husband, Brian, Sr. of Rising Sun and Kimberly Kelly and her husband Brian of Forest Hill, MD; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sierrah, Brian Russell, Jr., Sean and Emma. He is also survived by his brother, David Cook of the Philippines and sister-in-law Linda Cook of Barton, Vermont. In addition to his father he was predeceased by his brother, Russell Cook. A Memorial Service conducted by Dr. Robert Clipp will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Saturday, September 24 at 10:00 with a visitation to follow until 12:00pm.
