Dad,
I remember what a great father you were and your unconditional love. You taught me to trust God and seek him in all. You taught me how to treat and care about people. You taught me to stay calm under pressure and always do the right thing!! You were the best father a son could ask for. You showed me wisdom and how to obtain it.
I longed for a day that we could spend time together again, but your death cut that short. I miss you and that opportunity to spend time with you...

On this anniversary of Bro Larry's passing, I am reminded of the short time that I live in Virginia and he was my pastor. He, and his family, made me feel so welcome and loved when I was so far away from home (Texas). I never really realized how much that meant at the time, but looking back, that is what made my stay most tolerable. Today I am thinking of the Family and praying for peace in each ones life.

Larry was my pastor for the short period that I was in Virginia back in 1980. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He and his family made me feel like I was at home even though I was several hundred miles from East Texas. He always had the heart of a servant. He will be missed, and I can't wait to see him again some day.
