Not sure what to say?

Today has been 3 years without you. It doesn´t get any easier without you. Wish for one more phone call, one more piece of advice, and just to hear you say "hey son , whatcha doing". I love you dad ! RIP 14 - love your son.

So long Larry, miss the laughs Nick V abpd

Larry was an all around great guy!! He became an intricate part of my life in 1991, when I married one of his fellow officers, Tony Carrillo. Although I had known him many years prior, just living in Neptune Beach. My kids referred to him as, "PAPA DEAN", He was there for all of their milestones! They loved him dearly as did many! They kept in touch over the years as did I. The kindest thing Larry ever did for me was, to arrange for a horse drawn carriage from the church to the FOP for Tony...

Offering my deepest sympathy to the Dean family. I got to know Larry when my mom worked as a dispatcher for NB in the late 1980´s. He was the sweetest, most warm-hearted man that I have met. He was such a blessing to the City of Neptune Beach! He was a wonderful person we all could look up to and a great mentor to all of the junior officers who worked with him. So sorry for your loss!! My family is honored to know him. Lori Algard Bennett.

I stayed up with my father, Christopher Jones, last night just listening to the endless stories of how Larry inspired my dad to be a police officer. The stories were all filled with laughter, inspiration, and loyalty, all qualities of the relationship between the two of them. I did not know Larry as well as my dad, but he saw him as a second father. He looked up to Larry as a hero and role model, which he was. He will be missed so dearly by many, including his wonderful children. I owe him my...

My brother, I never wanted to have to read your obituary. I miss you so very much. My days will never be the same without your calls, our long rides, our ideas of solving all the world problems and ,of course, your constant teasing about my fear of alligators. You told me it was me that you were worrying about as you faded more and more each day with that horrible disease. I am trying to remain strong as you told me but my heart is broken. You were an amazing brother and I have always...

Thank you for being a wonderful father-in-law, I cherish our memories. Our talks, your smile, hugs, laughter will be missed. Rest easy

Dad, thank you for making me the person I am today. You taught me how to serve others and treat everyone with dignity and respect. You were the best father, role model and friend a son could ever ask for in life. I love you and miss you so much. Rest easy Dad, I got it from here. "Capt " Larry Dean Hero-Father-Best Friend RIP 14.
