Larry D. Denny M.D., 64, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 22, 2015. He was born on October 22, 1950 to John and Liela Denny in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Medic. He went to school at University of Texas San Antonio for his Bachelor of Arts. He got his Doctorate Degree at University of Texas Galveston School of Medicine and did his Orthopedic Residency at LSU Shreveport. Larry was a Las Vegas Valley orthopedic surgeon for 27 years. He was loved by his patients and friends because of his "regular guy" attitude. He healed and touched many lives. Larry is survived by his wife of 22 years Kim; his daughter Avery Joy Denny and his three sons, Chris Kintz, Michael Sarkis and Matthew Sarkis; his father, John Denny; sister Cynthia Jo Miller. A Celebration of life ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131.

Larry was one of the greatest men, he loved to help anyone in need. I loved when he would come work in the Trauma Center, I would get to spend time with him. He will be missed by so many. You are in my prayers...

Kim,
So sorry I could not be there on Friday night. My thoughts and prayers have been of you and your entire family this past week. Your 22 years together have created such lasting memories for you all.
