Larry Deshazor

I just learned today of Larry´s passing from a former co-worker. This was very sad news. I worked with Larry at the City of Atlanta. He was respected and liked by his co-workers. RIP my co-worker and friend.

I have known Larry and the DeShazor family since childhood. We attended John Hope Elementary School and later Henry McNeal Turner High. His brother Robert (deceased) and I attended our 7th grade Prom together (along with my daddy ). My "bonus" dad was Director of Housing Code for the City of Atlanta until retirement and Larry worked with him. I have good memories and history with this wonderful family. Larry was a kindered spirit, had a heart of gold and was just an all around AWESOME human...

May my great friend Larry rest in perfect peace! The friendship he portrayed over the 59 years I´ve known him is special and will be a beacon of great memories, never to be forgotten. His kindness and thoughtfulness will shadow many for the rest of our journey. Grady Davis
