I have fond memories of being Larry's next door neighbor during my teen years living in West Rogers Park, Chicago. The entire Diamond family -- Larry's grandmother, mother Bertha, father Henry, and brothers Darryl and Jeff, and of course Larry -- were so warm and loving. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Larry's death; I extend my deep sympathy to Darryl and Jeffrey and to Larry's family. My husband Bob and I am sorry for their loss, Shula (Avni) Luber

Dear Linda,
Although I did not know Larry very well, the few encounters that I had with him while working at The Smith Companies and The Bill Bonk Annuity Team was very pleasant. He always had a smile when he attended our events, and was very genuine with every conversation.
It is with our deepest sympathy and heavy hearts that we offer our condolences to Larry's Family.
May he rest in peace.

I have had the honor of being Larry's friend and teacher of the Tao, for over 20 years and feel great shock and loss as others here have expressed. Larry expressed only love and joy for Linda and his community. My sincere sympathy for all family and friends. While Larry was my friend and my student, he was also my teacher. I learned so much from him. He has gifted me with many awesome memories of his smiles, his humor, his joy of movies, his wisdom of politics, his wonderful presence and much much more. Love to you on your journey my friend. See you in the spirit world.

I met Larry in Tai Chi class. He was such a dedicated practitioner. He came every week. Larry was always interested in others. Larry loved a good movie and he always had a good film to suggest...and they really were good films! Larry was supportive and helpful and showed genuine interest in my life whenever I saw him. Gosh, I will miss Larry especially in class. I will think of him whenever I see a good film. I'll say - Larry would love this movie....

Larry was a dear friend and trusted advisor. His passing is a shock and his loss is great. Linda, I am thinking of you and all of those in his loving and extended family.

We are saddened by Larry's death. He was a charming man and advised me very well on financial matters. It was always a pleasure to meet and have coffee with him. It was Larry who advised us to invest in variable annuities, a move that buffered the effect of the crash in 2008. Larry also advised me to join BNI, an organization I have been affiliated with now for many years.

I was very shocked to hear about Larry's passing. Larry and Linda were dear friends for many years and I cannot imagine the Jewish men's study group or Jewish men's retreat without him. A wonderful accomplished and great man.

Lois and I are deeply saddened by Larry's death. I have fond memories of visiting my cousins Larry, Darryl and Jeff, and their late parents (my Uncle Henry and Aunt Bert) in their home in Chicago. More recently, we enjoyed seeing Larry at family weddings. We offer our heartfelt sympathy to Larry's entire family. May his memory be a blessing. Cousin Mark (Diamond)
