Not sure what to say?

I think the first song I ever wrote with someone else was with Larry. He came to mw with the words and asked if I would the melody. When finished we sent it on to channel 9. It was about Hercamer Dragon from the Jingles in Boofland show.

Larry was a quiet class mate of 1965. I have great pride to know that Larry used the Legacy of those who gave him life and used his education to become a valuable citizen of this great country. My only regret is that I did not share with him in his success in life sense our graduation. He has left a Legacy for the enjoyment of future generations by his example.

Larry Diehr was a dear friend of our family during the growing beginnings. We became friends when my x husband, Mark Oemke, attended EMU with him while pursuing his Masters Degree. They became fishing partners and good buddies. He went with us to Chapleau Ontario to fish and enjoy the untouched forests and lakes. Mark´s nickname for him was Lunker Larry because he was always in pursuit of the "Big fish". His mom crocheted me baby shawl when my first child was born. He became Uncle...

Single Memorial Tree

I am so sorry to hear that Larry has passed away and send my heartfelt condolences to his family. I met Larry in 1972-76 at Eastern Michigan University and remember him wearing his green Army jacket around campus. He was a returning vet, studying computer sciences, and was always a kind, quiet and loyal friend. Our college group of friends shared many cups of coffee, card games and laughs for hours between classes. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to us all.

What a nice man he was I have many fond memories of him it has been a long time since we saw each other. I shared many meals with him and he had a fondness for good food we shared a Monday night dinner club for a few years joined ROA at the same meeting my thoughts and prayers to June.

The three stair-steps: Larry, Peter, and Herb, growing up together. About 1960. There were always cats and dogs on the farm! And as we all grew up, we all went into the military - Larry to the Army Air Mobile; Peter to the Coast Guard, and Herb to the Marines.
