Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I met Larry when we were just out of high school - Larry the Legend! Larry was one of the most kind and generous persons that I have known. We're going to miss Larry for all that he was and I feel so lucky and honored that Larry considered me his friend. I send my condolences to Larry's family. Rest in Peace, my friend. Ron Callison

Larry assisted me and my jazz students in preparing for two trips to Hikone. He was dedicated, knowledgeable, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Larry was very generous in providing all the cultural background we needed to make our trips successful - such a great ambassador for Ann Arbor!

We are former neighbors of Larry´s on Abbey Lane.He was a terrific guy. Sending our deepest sympathies. Reza and Janet Movahhed

I met Larry playing fantasy baseball and over the next 30 years or so it was a pleasure getting to know him. I'm going to miss singing the old German beer drinking songs with him at our drafts. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Auf Wiedersehen, Herr Dishman

My Condolences to the Entire Dishman Family, I have some great memories of Larry through softball . I loved it when he would call balls and strikes in one of his many Languages. He was such a Fun and Fair game caller. God Bless .

Sending love and prayers to the Dishman family! Thank you Larry for making this world a better place! God bless you and yours always!

I had the great fortune to work with Larry beginning in 1977. Larry was a kind and thoughtful man who was eager to serve others in whatever capacity he could. He made time to talk and you felt that he was giving you his full attention. His sense of humor was remarkable. Our daughter went to Hikone, Japan and Larry's commitment to that important exchange changed lives on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. Larry helped create opportunities for many young people to try their hand at team...

Larry Dishman was mild-mannered, personable and as a legendary umpire - he called a few batters and players out with a firm voice, "You're out!" A major contributor to Ann Arbor's Quality of Life through the AA Recreation Department, his faith and overseeing our City exchange program. When we sounded the trumpet, he and his St. Thomas HS brotherhood rallied at Washtenaw Dairy. We all believe each other's stories. Larry-san, you was a great man, and it was my pleasure to have known you. We are grateful from the bottom of our heart for your effort of Hikone-Ann Arbor student program. Please convey my sincerest condolences.
